Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Correlation Lab ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. About the App

Correlation Lab is an iOS app that reads Apple Health metrics you choose, runs simple statistical correlation analysis between two of them on your device, and presents the results — along with optional plain-English explanations — as personal "experiments" you can save, rerun, compare, and export.

The App does not transmit your health data to any server operated by us. All reading, analysis, and (by default) AI summarisation happen locally on your device.

3. Not Medical Advice

The App is not intended to replace professional medical judgement, and must not be used in emergency situations or as a substitute for clinical care.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App;
• Redistribute or resell the App or any part of it;
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm, disable, or impair its operation.

6. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Correlation Lab offers a free tier with one active experiment, and an optional Correlation Lab Pro upgrade that unlocks unlimited experiments, every Health metric, AI explanations, and full lab history. Pro is available either as a one-time Lifetime purchase, or as auto-renewing weekly or monthly subscriptions.

For auto-renewing subscriptions:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase;
• Your subscription automatically renews for the same length and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period;
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device, or via the App Store;
• Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

All purchases and subscriptions are processed and billed by Apple through the App Store, governed by Apple's own terms. Except where required by applicable law, all sales are final — we do not process refunds directly. To restore a previous purchase on a new device, use the "Restore" option within the App's paywall.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within the App are the property of r6lab Radoslaw Jozefowicz or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

If you choose to connect your own external AI provider (an entirely optional, opt-in feature), that provider's own terms and privacy policy will govern how it handles the data you choose to send it. We are not responsible for third-party services you opt into.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability. Correlations shown by the App depend entirely on the completeness and accuracy of the Health data available on your device.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, r6lab Radoslaw Jozefowicz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, your reliance on any pattern, correlation, or explanation it surfaces, or any decision you make as a result.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever changes are made.
